I have become a huge fan of the Switch, but it literally took me holding one to convince me. I have never found hand held systems to be worth it. The graphics and controls just aren't up to par (to consoles) or worth my time. The Switch delivers in both categories and the fact that you can play it on a TV is genius. Though who wouldn't also kill their friends for Journey? Sean's collection aside I really wanted to do more action and fighting shots so the above Battle Royale / Hunger Games theme was an obvious pick. I'm also trying to pay more attention to detail in each shot with having more things move and react to what is happening. For example having even those figures that don't say anything change expression and move. An obvious thing to do, now that I look at it. Also below is further proof why I can't draw these comics. The top is my two minute attempt to make a Switch box for Sean to hold. Below an actual box image. At first I was proud of my work. Then I saw the pictures and realized how easy it would be to just photoshop an actual box would be. Lastly I swapped the figure I was using for the character of Sean. Originally he was figma 288 Shizou Heiwajima from the anime Durarara. I know nothing about this show or character just liked the figure. However when he stood next to other figures his differences in proportions was just too obvious. The biggest problem being his much smaller head. So now he is figma 256 Yu Narukami from the fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ulitmax. Again don't know anything about character, but the figure is awesome. It even came with this beautiful polished steel finish sword that will certainly be in future comics.
