The Cursed Seas, Come on in, the water is warm.

Sea of Thieves had a choppy launch with the player base complaining about the lack of content. Rare, in an unusual move for a studio, reworked their entire release schedule moving micro-transactions to the back burner, to instead concentrate on content. In the less than six months since the game left port things have started to heat up on the seas.

Open world games tend to get complicated quickly with that in mind now is the perfect time to give Sea Of Thieves a try. In the updates since launch the team at Rare has added new enemy variations, sea monsters, ships, a new currency, and NPCs. Where before the seas seemed calm they are now starting to get crowded.

On a typical play of a couple of hours it's not uncommon for a player to encounter a Kraken, a giant shark, and at least one other swarthy pirate to fight, and that when you are trying to mind your own business. It wont be long before Sea Of Thieves becomes so big that a new pirate will feel overwhelmed. The next expansion, due out in September, extends the map and add a new area to an already large game. I suggest you get your sea legs now if you think you might be interested in the game.
