If there is one thing in Sea of Thieves I dread to do, it is follow the cryptic directions to treasure. They are a scavenger hunt that only works if you are looking in the right direction (without blinking) and its the correct phase of the moon. Assuming you can find the correct cave scratching in the first place. Give me an 'X' on a map any day and my first shovel will hit pay dirt. Last night we struggled with one on Old Faithful Isle, that must be glitched. It sounded so simple, "go to the north beach and hold a light up high". So now imagine 20 minutes of three guys with lanterns just running around the beach fighting off skeletons. In the end the isle won and got to keep it treasure.
